Crackers, our late family cat

This is our family cat, Crackers.

Crackers went to the vet today for his WoF, which in this context turns out to mean 'warrant of fatness'. He put on a whole kilo during lockdown, despite the fact that, as a cat, he was not actually locked down.

This was also despite the fact that he eats incredibly expensive special food. But the problem with Crackers is that he thinks ALL food is special, particularly the neighbours'.

Putting on a sixth of his own bodyweight hasn't affected his popularity, though. When the vet was examining him, a second vet popped in and said affectionately that she just wanted to see Crackers, 'my main man'.

She was rewarded with a stare like the one featured.
