I just saw the most Upper Hutt thing of a lifetime

I just saw the most Upper Hutt thing of lifetime. I pulled into my driveway. There was a Lime scooter on the street by my fence. In my peripheral vision, this random passing guy appeared, and tried to swiftly steal the Lime scooter. But, problem: he was already on a Lime scooter. He attempted to ride off quickly on his scooter with the stolen scooter under his arm. The anti-theft alarm on the stolen scooter screamed. The scooter he was actually on wobbled - he stumbled off it. So in a panic, he tried to ride both scooters at the same time, in parallel, like a ski trip in Aspen, only for cerebrally ungifted bogans. At this point, some 50 metres away, he seemed to realise this was not in fact the crime of the century. By the time I retrieved my phone, he was parking up the stolen scooter, no doubt wondering how such a brilliantly conceived plan went wrong. This picture is crap, but whatever. Some things demand to be immortalised. I present to you, the spirit of the Hutt!
