Thought for the day, 12 January 2022
This time, I think I've lost the plot.
There's some sort of process going on to figure out whether Boris held a party at 10 Downing Street, breaking the COVID rules of the time.
This isn't something that needs a process to clarify - just a 'yes' or 'no' from the party's host. We already know that 'no' isn't plausible, given his private secretary sent the invitations, and people were seen attending. But that 'no' would require honesty, and honesty is only the best policy if you're not a policy professional, spinning for a guy who's willing to pretend anything at all, except that he gives a ****.
Quite literally, I don't understand what's going on here. I don't understand what convinces someone that his right to canapés outweighs other people's right to, you know, be alive. and I would guess that the kai at his party was pretty good. I would guess it was rather better than the déclassé soggy sandwiches and savouries being served right now after the mass funerals of poor. LOL!
People are calling Boris dishonest. They're wrong. The man has never been more open about his values, or more faithful in living them.
